Russian Men and Why You Need to Avoid Them at All Cost (Part 1)

Russian men... There are so many words that come to mind when you think of Russian men, but since most of them are quite inappropriate, we won't be able to post them here.

If you are a woman and think of marrying one, here is a word of advice: run, run away as fast as you can and don't look back.


If you are a man and you need to deal with Russians for some weird reason, avoid at all cost. Unless you are suicidal and have nothing to lose.


Are Russian men as bad as they portray them in Hollywood movies? Definitely, yes. In fact, they are worse. So, what is it about Russian men that makes them so horrible? The answer might surprise you...

We are fully aware of the fact that we cannot generalize people, it is politically incorrect, to say the least. However, the thing that bugs people the most, is the vast majority of generalizations are true. If someone does not fit under one generalization, this is an exception, not the rule. Of course, Russian men are very diverse and every man can differ somewhat, however, there are some things that all of them have in common. So what are those things?

To be more objective, we will post both negative and  positive aspects of Russian men.

First, something negative:

1. Most Russian men are ugly. Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and to each his own, but don't take our word for it, take one from the highly regarded professional who knows something about beauty: Karl Lagerfeld. This is what he had to say about Russian men: "If I was a woman in Russia, I would be a lesbian, as the men are very ugly. There are a few handsome ones, like Naomi Campbell's boyfriend, but there you see the most beautiful women and the most horrible men." Source

He also predicted the problems with Greece, so he was definitely onto something. 

Oh, come on, Mr. Lagerfeld, you flattered Naomi Campbell's boyfriend a whole lot, since Vladislav is ugly too. But we understand why you had to exclude Mr.Doronin.  You need Naomi on your catwalk. And if you doubt Mr. Lagerfeld's fine taste, please consider this: according to BeatifulPeople.com Russian and British men are the ugliest. Russian men are so ugly, that there is a popular saying among Russian women, "A man should be just a tiny bit more handsome than the Devil himself."

2. Many Russian men smell. This happens for the most part because they do not take showers regularly, don't change clothes or underwear every day, and are not accustomed to using a deodorant. 

If you are a Russian man, PLEASE take a shower in the morning before riding a metro, put on a washed pair of boxers, and use a deodorant. If you are already doing this, use that deodorant twice. Thank you. The world would be a better place if all Russian men did that.

3. Russian men are more prone to cheating. The reason for it is unknown, but this is common knowledge. One of the reasons could be that there is a lack of marriageable men in Russia, and women vastly outnumber men.

According to the Wall Street Journal research, Russian men admitted to cheating more than any other groups. Unfortunately, not only did they admit to having more affairs, but also they apparently did not see the problem with cheating. Source

The real reason why Russian men are so adulterous is biological: all cultures where women outnumber men create a perfect environment for cheating, according to science. If some day Russian men will outnumber women (which is highly unlikely at this point), they will become more monogamous and loyal to their significant others. 

So, let's sum up the first part of our essay on Russian men: they are ugly, smelly, and adulterous. If you are reading this and you are a Russian man, the only thing you have to do is to take showers and stay faithful to your significant other. Only then you will be the exception, not the rule. Oh, and don't worry too much about being ugly.
